01 MF9 BRAND MANIFESTO

Commissioned by MF9 (2020)

Brand manifesto commissioned as part of a larger overhaul of MF9’s brand identity. I collaborated closely with executives and creatives to develop and articulate MF9’s ethos and vision within working philosophical, cultural, and commercial contexts. Much of my work was to first understand key concepts and words as presently defined among relevant disciplines, then to clearly define (sometimes redefine) such, according to their mission as an innovative multidisciplinary practice.

02 “WHO CAN KNOW THE HEART OF YOUTH?”

Commissioned by Polina Piddubna, Inc (2021)

Companion and culminating text for Polina Piddubna’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection, “Who Can Know the Heart of Youth.” The client encouraged me to write from experience, to paint the glowing moments of my own youth, which would inform the meaning of the poem, which would inform the meaning of the pieces. In a way, the poem serves as an answer to the question posed in its title, taken from Patti Smith’s memoir, Just Kids.
